There is nothing quite like the feeling of reading a glowing review after a guest checks out. At Time Out OBX, we designed our new construction 2025 Corolla rental semi oceanfront home with a specific vision: to create a stress-free, luxurious sanctuary for large families and groups.
But you don’t have to take our word for it.
We are thrilled to share some highlights from our very first season. Our 2025 guests—Reita, Alexis, and Whitney—shared their experiences staying at our home, and their feedback perfectly captures what makes Time Out OBX special. From the “stunning” private pool to the convenience of the location, here is what it’s really like to stay here.
The Heart of the Home: A Truly Fully Stocked Kitchen
One of the biggest anxieties when booking a large group Corolla NC beach rental that sleeps 24 is the kitchen. Will there be enough forks? Are the pots big enough for a spaghetti dinner for 20? Do we need to bring our own blender?
We made sure the answer to those worries was a resounding “no.” We are so happy that our guests noticed the effort.
“The home was clean and had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen.” — Reita, October 2025
“The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed – from kitchen essentials to beach gear.” — Alexis, September 2025
“Lovely touches throughout, with the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a vacation rental.” — Whitney, August 2025
When you are feeding a crowd, you need the right tools. We ensure our kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts before the beach to massive family feasts.
Location: Quiet, Convenient, and Close to the Sand
Time Out OBX sits in a “Goldilocks” zone. We are close enough to the action to be convenient, but tucked away enough to feel private.
Whitney, who stayed with us in August, nailed the description of our location near Timbuck II and local shopping:
“A big plus for us was how close it was to shops and restaurants yet how private and quiet the area was! A 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to food and shopping.” — Whitney
And, of course, there is the beach itself. As a semi oceanfront Corolla house steps to the beach path, we usually tell guests it’s about a 30-second walk to beach access. Alexis confirmed that this proximity—and the views—made the trip:
“Best of all, the home is just a short walk to the beach, with breathtaking ocean views that made every morning and evening feel like a dream.” — Alexis
Accessibility and Local Tips
One of the best parts of hosting is seeing how guests utilize the local resources. Reita gave a fantastic tip for future guests traveling with family members who have mobility challenges.
“It was also close to the fire department which was nice because we were able to rent a beach wheelchair for a family member.” — Reita
This is a great reminder that Corolla is a welcoming place for everyone. Between local services like beach wheelchair rentals and our home’s elevator, we aim to make the beach accessible for every generation in your group.
A “Stunning” Private Pool
After a long day on the sand, sometimes you just want to float in fresh water. Our private pool is a major focal point of the property, designed to be an oasis for relaxation.
“The amenities were top-notch, and the private pool was stunning – a true highlight of our trip.” — Alexis
Whether you are enjoying a morning coffee by the poolside or letting the kids burn off the last of their energy before bed, the pool area is designed to be your private retreat.
